Which CO2 bottle is right for me?

One CO2 bottle (425g) comes with GROHE Blue Home. To make the process of refilling convenient we recommend to order a starter kit at first, and then order the refill kit.
Change the CO2 bottle is also easy and convenient: unscrew the used bottle and screw in the new one – it couldn’t be simpler or safer.

The GROHE Blue Home Starter set already contains one CO2 bottle, so that you can experience the great taste of sparkling GROHE Blue water immediately. During your first order on our web shop, you need to buy the CO2 Starter kit, which comes with four full bottles. In total you will have five CO2 bottles at home.

Refill process for CO2 bottle 425g

Once four bottles are empty and the fifth bottle is in use, you order the CO2 Refill kit — you return four empty bottles for free (please use the same box), and you will receive 4 full bottles in return.

CO2 bottles as well as filters, cleaning cartriges and adapters are easy to purchase from our online shop. We offer a refill service for original GROHE CO2 bottles so that you can return empty bottles easily back to us.
The GROHE Blue Home Starter set already contains one CO2 bottle, so that you can experience the great taste of sparkling GROHE Blue water immediately. During your first order on our web shop, you need to buy the CO2 bottle starter kit, which comes with four full bottles (item no. 40422000). In total you will have five CO2 bottles at home.

Once four bottles are empty and the fifth bottle is in use, you order the CO2 bottle refill kit (item no. 40687000):
Use the same delivery box to return four empty bottles with the free return label which you are going to receive with each new order, and in return you will receive four full bottles from us.

Please contact GROHE Customer Service if you require larger quantities (e.g. box with 18 bottles).
When you order a refill kit, a pre-paid return label (PDF file) will be attached to order confirmation.
Put the empty bottles into the same box, print the return label and stick it over the existing shipping label of the box.

It is also crucial to put the refill sticker directly over the diamond symbol. The refill sticker is included in the shipping envelope of the box, or you use the print copy from the order confirmation. Please ensure that the diamond symbol (UN 1013) is completely covered.
Locate the nearest branch of the shipping carrier and drop off your parcel for free. Once this package has been delivered, we will send out the new box of full CO2 bottles to you.

Important note: Please use each return label only one time. If you need a new one, please contact us.
The connection valves of CO2 bottles are not standardised in the EU. Using a third-party CO2 bottle with a different valve can therefore result in damage to the CO2 pressure reducing valve and the seals built into it! This may lead to CO2 escaping, which ends up in faster emptying of the bottle and can endanger your health as the user!

If the system is damaged by a third-party CO2 bottle, the voluntary manufacturer’s warranty can be void, too.
Only by using original GROHE CO2 bottles you can be ensured that the connection valve of the bottle fits well into the system and the system will be in good working order condition.
No, the CO2 bottle must not be installed horizontally. Due to safety measures, please also store them in vertical position.
